A Facebook page of a barangay in Iloilo gained criticism on a Facebook group "Filipino Freethinkers" for threatening a resident of their barangay after giving them a 1-star rating on their Facebook page.
Barangay officials summoned a resident after the resident leave them a 1-star review and wrote "barangay officials don't do anything except sit in the office and say they're helping and cleaning the barangay" on their Facebook page.
On the other hand, a lawyer posted on the said FB page and they have responded in the lawyer's argument.
The administrators of the said Facebook page hides the review option on their page, deleted and banned those accounts who criticized them. Some users also said that they have received a private message of one of the barangay officials and seems like they're also been threatened for commenting on the barangay's Facebook page post.
